Glazed Gable Garden Room

The existing property had a single window in the gable end looking into the garden, we designed a glazed gable detail that fully removed the window and the majority of the stonework and opened the sitting room to allow light to flood into a previously dark space.  This allowed my clients to be able to sit inside and look into the garden on rainy days.

A small patio area was designed to integrate the garden and the living room, the patio level was set to the same finished floor level as the living room allowing a level access onto the patio. The drainage was then accommodated to remove any surface water.
